Winning Streak Continues for Underage Footballers!

The young Erin’s Own footballers were in winning form again on Saturday when they collected both the U10 plate and the U11 cup in the Gary Doyle Memorial Tournament.

This was the first year of the All-Ireland tournament which was organised by St. Eunan’s GAC Letterkenny in honour of the late Gary Doyle.  Gary, a St. Eunan’s player, passed away some 8 years ago in a tragic accident, aged only 29 years.  It is hoped that the tournament will now become an annual event.

Congratulations to the U10 footballers who defeated St. Eunan’s, Letterkenny in the final to win the Gary Doyle Memorial Plate.

Congratulations also to the U11 footballers who defeated Termon, Co. Donegal, to win the U11 Gary Doyle Memorial Cup.  The team was captained by James McGurk.
